Why we're building Bayt ul Uloom.
We're a community of parents, educators, and volunteers who believe our children deserve a school where faith and learning grow together — and we're building it from scratch, together.
It started with a simple question.
Where will our children go to learn — not just to read and write, but to know their Creator, love the Qur'an, and carry themselves with good character in a world that doesn't always make that easy?
For many families, the honest answer is: there isn't a great option nearby. That gap is why Bayt ul Uloom exists. We're a group of parents, teachers, and community members who decided that instead of waiting for someone else to build this, we would start ourselves — even if that means starting small, starting early, and starting with a lot of work ahead of us.
Bayt ul Uloom — "the House of Knowledge" — is our name and our intention: a place where 'ilm (knowledge) is sought for the sake of Allah, and where that knowledge shapes character, not just résumés.
Honest about where we are
We're not pretending to be further along than we are. Bayt ul Uloom is currently a registered nonprofit organization in its founding stage — there is no campus, no enrolled students, and no staff yet.
What exists today is a founding team, a mission we believe in, and a roadmap to get from here to an open school, inshā'Allāh.
If that excites you as much as it excites us, we'd love for you to be part of it from this early stage. See how →
Educate the whole child.
To establish and operate an Islamic school that provides a rigorous academic education alongside a strong foundation in Qur'an, Islamic studies, and Arabic — nurturing students who are confident in their faith, capable in their studies, and committed to serving their communities.
A school our community can call home.
We envision a thriving, full-time Islamic school — and eventually a campus — that serves as a center of learning for generations of students, and a source of pride and support for the families and masajid that helped build it.
The principles guiding everything we build.
Qur'an & Sunnah First
Every decision is grounded in the teachings of the Qur'an and the example of the Prophet ﷺ.
Ikhlas (Sincerity)
We're building this for the sake of Allah and the benefit of our children — not recognition.
Academic Excellence
A school that meets students where they are and prepares them to excel in any field they pursue.
Community & Service
Bayt ul Uloom belongs to the community that builds it — and exists to serve that community in return.
We're building our founding board — right now.
Bayt ul Uloom is governed by a founding board of volunteers responsible for the organization's mission, finances, and direction during this early stage. As we grow, this board will expand to include educators, community leaders, and specialists in finance, fundraising, and education.
If you have experience in education, nonprofit governance, fundraising, or community organizing — and want to help shape Bayt ul Uloom from day one — we want to hear from you.
